Mbakbaka is a delightful pasta dish from Libya

We all love a good Pasta, it’s a delicious, quick-to-prepare snack. It is also versatile and can be prepared in many different and surprising ways every time. From Libyan cuisine called Mbakbaka, here is the way for tasty baked pasta.

The Ingredients:

Half a kilo of pasta.
Medium sized chopped onion.
Chopped bell pepper.
One cup and a half of squeezed tomatoes.
Three tablespoons of olive oil.
Half a kilo of beef, cut into small cubes.
Two cloves crushed garlic.
Two tablespoons of sauce.
One tablespoon of butter.
One teaspoon of curry.
Half a spoon of mixed spices. Salt and black pepper to taste.

How to make the delicious Mbakbaka:

Heat the oil and butter in a pot over medium heat.
Then add the meat, pepper and salt and stir the mixture for 5 minutes.
Add the onions and stir with the meat until cooked.
Then add the chopped garlic and stir.
Add tomato juice, sauce and spices and leave until the meat is cooked.
Add the pasta, stir, cover the pot and leave on low heat until cooked.
Place in a serving dish and serve hot. Enjoy it.
